Designed for students in non-US business schools who are in the process of completing or have already completed their MBA (or comparable master's) degree, the MSMS program allows students to pursue their area of interest in management and construct an individualized curriculum of all-elective subjects from the offerings at MIT Sloan, other MIT departments, and Harvard University. Students specialize in a specific area within management by designating a concentration, taking elective subjects, and working with a Sloan faculty member to write a compulsory master's thesis in their area of study. Applicants from our international partner and cooperating schools are especially encouraged to apply.

These are evidenced by academic records, letters of evaluation from individuals familiar with the applicant's capabilities, and any other pertinent data furnished by the applicant. While high academic achievement does not guarantee admission, such achievement, or other persuasive evidence of professional promise, is expected.
