If you’re inquisitive and eager to learn more by investigating and researching, then this course is for you. Throughout the programme, you’ll study modules that help you develop investigation and project skills. You’ll also learn from a variety of practical activities including developing a business plan for a new start-up. This programme shares a common first year with the BA / Masters in Marketing and forms the basis of the four-year Masters in Business and Management. Note: You are encouraged to apply for the degree which most interests you. Subsequent transfer between these degree programmes will normally be possible. Year 1 The BA Business and Management, BA Marketing, Masters in Business and Management and Masters in Marketing share a common first year. This introduces the study of key business topics: People, Management and Organisation Marketing Decision-Making Changing World of Business Finance & Accountancy. Students start to develop business, investigation and project skills in a further module devoted to a range of business-related activities such as developing a business plan for a new start-up. The modules work together to build your knowledge and develop key skills and techniques. As this year is taught together with the Marketing degrees, it is possible to switch between courses upon successful completion of year one. Year 2 The second year sees the Business and Marketing
