General areas of study include accounting information; the legal, regulatory and social context within which accounting operates; and the design and operation of information systems. Management specific topics include entrepreneurship; marketing principles; and managing in a global environment. What’s more, if you choose the relevant modules, you may be exempt from some of the ACA, ACCA and CIMA examinations once you’ve completed your degree. Just another small step that’ll help make your way up the career ladder a little easier. This programme shares a common first year with the BA Accounting and Finance and Masters in Financial Accounting and has the same first three years as BA Accounting and Management. Note: You are encouraged to apply for the degree which most interests you. Subsequent transfer between these degree programmes will normally be possible.
