We will uncover the thinking behind, and tools of corporate social responsibility and sustainability, that help managers improve the long-term survival of their organisations within increasingly dynamic global markets. We will debate some of the core assumptions of business and consider the changes needed to bring organisations more in line with the broader expectations of society. We will investigate the challenges for managerial decision-making that arise from the imperative to improve the sustainability of the firm and its relationships with communities, society and the natural environment. Our programme is 12 months long, with two 11-week semesters of taught content, and the summer period, where you can choose between a research dissertation and a practice track.
