You will develop a technical knowledge and understanding of accounting, finance and business. The course was developed in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and is designed to offer you a graduate route to become a Chartered Accountant. You will register as a student member of the ICAEW which gives access to many useful resources. Course content As well as developing relevant technical, personal and professional skills, you will study an applied syllabus informed by current business issues which will help you to develop greater commercial awareness. Teaching on the course focuses heavily on the development of pure accountancy skills. The course builds from the fundamentals of finance, accounting and business enabling you to develop your knowledge and understanding. It will also provide structured skills development aimed at improving your personal and professional skills. It also includes a bespoke skills development module, developed and delivered in collaboration with the ICAEW and accountancy firms.
