In addition to the core business and management foundation provided across all our pathways, you will study modules on topics like HRM, organisational psychology, the sociology of work and employee relations. As well as having the opportunity to take further specialist pathway modules (for example, in law, leadership, decision making or international aspects of people management), you may complement the core modules with electives from other pathways. Business organisations are reliant on people and, whichever career you choose, you will need to make sense of the behaviours of others in your workplace. The Human Resource Management pathway will not only prepare you for a career in HRM, but will also equip you with the essential people-focused foundation for other managerial and non-managerial careers. Our MBus (Master of Business) programme offers highly academic students a direct route to a Masters qualification by extending your BSc for a further year. Graduates of the programme will be able to meld theory and its application in the real world and are therefore likely to be highly attractive to employers as future strategic leaders and senior business managers.
