This develops students’ academic understanding of the trading environment as well as practical trading floor expertise. The objective is to prepare students for a career as a high-earning professional trader. Students will need an interest in financial markets, together with the determination to succeed in the demanding environment of financial trading. During the first term you will study modules in Technical Analysis, Risk and Portfolio Analysis and Financial Services Compliance and Ethics. During this period you will begin to develop expertise in accessing and analysing data using Thomson Reuters Eikon financial database. At the beginning of the second term you will study an intensive module on Fundamental Analysis. These modules will prepare you for the Theory and Practice of Trading module which will be delivered in our Trading Room and will use software which simulates financial trading activity.
