PS As part of the application process to the W. P. Carey School of Business, you are required to answer the following essay questions. Type your answers below each question, then save and upload this document when you submit your application materials. Essay Question #1 Describe why you would like to pursue the Master of Accountancy or Master of Taxation and how do you plan to leverage this degree to meet your long-term career goals? (250 words or less) Essay Question #2 Think about the most challenging class you had in your undergraduate accounting program. What did you learn from that experience and how will it impact your success in the graduate program? (250 words or less) Essay Question #3 (Optional) If you have completed your undergraduate degree at an AACSB-accredited undergraduate accounting program with a 3.25 cumulative GPA or higher and would like to request a GMAT waiver, address why you feel a waiver should be granted. (150 words or less) Essay Question #4 (Optional) Please provide any additional information you would like to bring to the attention of the admissions committee. (250 words or less) GPA You must have maintained a “B” (3.00 on a 4.00 scale) grade point average (GPA) in the last 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of undergraduate course work. If you do not meet the minimum GPA requirements, your application may still be considered.
