TOEFL Students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency with either a TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE Academic score. Students taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) must score either 213 or higher on the computer-based version, or 79 on the internet-based version. IELTS Students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency with either a TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE Academic score. Students submitting an International English Language System (IELTS) score must have earned a 6.5 overall score with no individual subscore below 6.0. GRE GRADUATE RECORD EXAMINATION (GRE) scores are required.

PS A personal statement of two to three double-spaced typed pages, submitted electronically. Fee The application fee of $75 payable to SUNY at Buffalo. Payments may be made online by program: RL Three letters of recommendation, submitted electronically.  Once you submit your application for final review, your professors will receive an automated email requesting that they upload their recommendation letter. Please arrange for the letters to be received by December 22nd for the PhD program, or March 8th for the MA program.
