TOEFL Prior to admission, applicants from countries where English is not the native language must demonstrate a full command of the English language by making a satisfactory score of 560 (paper) or 220 (computer) or 83 (internet) on the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL).  GRE Provide official GRE scores (general test). Unofficial copies will not be accepted. Copies of GRE scores submitted by applicants are not official scores. The department's desired minimum scores are 157 verbal, 158 quantitative, and 4.5 analytical writing. All applicants are required to submit official GRE scores.

GPA Have an undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.00. Fee The application fee can be paid online via credit card at the time you submit your application or in the form of an international money order or a check drawn from a U.S. bank and made payable to the University of Colorado after you submit your application (or if using a printed application). If submitting a check or money order, include your full name and birth date so that it can be properly credited to your application. RL Submit three letters of recommendation from accredited mathematicians. Transcript We require one copy of the scanned unofficial transcript from each undergraduate and graduate institution you attended. This includes community colleges, summer sessions and extension programs. While credits from one institution may appear on the transcript of a second institution, transcripts must be submitted from each institution, regardless of the length of attendance, and whether or not courses were completed. Failure to list and submit transcripts from all institutions previously attended is considered to be a violation of academic ethics and may result in the cancellation of your admission or dismissal from the university. PDFs of all unofficial transcripts should be uploaded to the application. If you are offered admission and accept, then we will request that you have your official transcripts sent to the Graduate Admissions. Do NOT send your official transcripts until you are advised to do so.
