GRE While submission of GRE scores is not required for admission to the French MA program, students with an undergraduate GPA under 3.0 might consider submitting scores as a means of demonstrating their true potential for graduate study.  Minimum score required by other graduate programs at the University of Louisville: 900 (combined verbal and quantitative).

PS A personal statement of 1-2 pages in French discussing how the MA in French relates to the applicants professional or personal goals. GPA Minimum undergraduate GPA required for direct admission: 3.0 on a four-point scale. Candidates with a 2.75-2.99 GPA will be considered, but admission, if recommended, will only be granted on a conditional basis. Letters must be recent (written no more than a year prior to application date) and should attest to the applicants fluency in French and potential to do graduate work. Transcript Transcripts from all accredited institutions where undergraduate and/or graduate credit was earned should be submitted to the School of Interdisciplinary and Graduate Studies (SIGS)
