兰卡斯特大学哲学文学硕士项目使学生在哲学学科中追求和发展自己的兴趣。该课程建立在一个核心模块的基础上，该模块向学生介绍学科核心技能和知识，并可从各个子学科的一系列可选模块中进行选择。学生修读五门课程，每门完成一份5千字论文，课堂采用小组学习或一对一指导模式，学生可选择个人研究方向并完成一份2万字的学位论文。项目适合有志于攻读博士学位的学生、也适合非哲学背景、想要深入学习哲学知识并从事哲学工作的学生。
