伦敦大学亚非学院文化研究文学硕士项目致力于教授学生马克思主义、结构主义、后结构主义、后马克思主义、女性主义和后现代主义等文化研究理论，使他们了解这些理论在亚非与中东等跨文化语境中的运用与改编，同时也引导学生探讨西方文化中主要的历史概念，如意识形态、权力、阶级、身份、种族、民族、主体性、代表性和记忆等等。
