Research on nutrition and health integrates information from many disciplines: biochemistry, physiology, psychology, food science, genetics, and cell biology are at the heart of our understanding of nutrition and its application. The Interdepartmental Nutrition Program is a multidisciplinary training ground for students interested in the study of foods and nutrition. Faculty from 10 departments at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana University School of Medicine at Indianapolis, and Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne participate. This provides a wide range of expertise and training opportunities.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score and Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic score are also accepted. The minimum required IELTS score is 6.5, and the minimum required PTE score is 58. Three letters of recommendation from people who know your academic strengths and can comment on your suitability for graduate studies. The letters of recommendation may be submitted online or by hard copy. Original transcripts for academic institutions you have attended (even if you didn't receive a degree). We are also accepting electronic transcripts that are sent directly from accredited U.S. colleges or universities. Electronic transcripts must be sent directly to gradadm@purdue.edu to verify the authenticity of the documents.
