This course is designed especially for those working in the field of English as a second/foreign language and has modules in language description, in pedagogy and in specialist related fields with this audience in mind. There are three possible tracks: the dissertation track or the Taught track for experienced teachers, and the Portfolio track for teachers with limited experience. Taught/ dissertation tracks are available by distance study. Specially written materials are provided for distance study, and tutorial support is available by phone, Skype, email and the University's Virtual Learning Environment 'Blackboard'. Blended modes of study are also possible (campus and distance).
