The programme’s core modules provide not only a rigorous treatment of the relevant theory, but also the quantitative techniques necessary to understand the literature and undertake empirical investigations in the areas of accounting and finance. You will gain an understanding of the basic principles and advanced knowledge of financial accounting systems used around the world, as well as a complete introduction to financial theory through a study of the problems of investing capital. You will also be introduced to the techniques of econometrics and undertake a substantial course in corporate finance. Our elective modules offer you a broader perspective on the subject, allowing you to tailor the programmes to areas that are of particular relevance to your interests or career aspirations.
