You'll have the opportunity to put these skills into practice during work placements, and gain insights into the industry through site visits, a week-long survey camp, overseas field trip and input from engineering companies. The course offers the flexibility to transfer to the Civil and Transport Engineering stream if you wish at the end of Year 2. Depending on the route you choose to take, you'll qualify as a civil engineer with specialist knowledge in civil and structural, or transportation, engineering. The course is accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institute of Highway Engineers, The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation and the Institution of Structural Engineers.
