TOEFL The University at Buffalo has a minimum TOEFL score requirement of 550 (paper-based) or 79 (internet-based). IELTS On IELTS, UB requires an overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0. GRE GRE score is required for all Ph.D. applicants and MS applicants (only if BS degree was obtained from a non-US institute).
