PS Personal statement – Included in your one-page personal statement, provide a rank-ordered list of the top 3 MSE tracks (see track courses under Coursework tab) that interest you. Also, please provide a rank-ordered list of the top 5 MSE faculty with whom you wish to pursue research. GPA Have at least a 3.0 undergraduate grade point average. Note: applicants who cannot meet this undergraduate standard may still secure regular admissions if they have completed 9 semester hours (3 courses) of relevant graduate course work with at least a 3.25 grade point average overall. CV A resume is required. Fee There is a non-refundable $60.00 fee for domestic applicants and a $80.00 fee for international applicants. Application fees are payable by credit card using the online application. RL Three letters of recommendation – Applications are considered complete with three letters of recommendation. Letters of Recommendation help the Graduate Admissions Committee learn more about the qualifications and experiences of prospective students. Applicants should choose recommenders that can help relay a holistic view of his or her past experiences. Many students elect to have former professors, supervisors or industry colleagues submit letters on their behalf. Transcript Unofficial Transcripts – Unofficial transcripts may be submitted for the review process. Please provide transcripts from each undergraduate or graduate institution attended. This includes community colleges and any school attended for which credit has been awarded. Official transcripts will only be required after an admission offer is made.
