TOEFL UF does not require international freshman applicants to submit English proficiency exam results. However, international applicants whose first language is not English are strongly encouraged to submit a score from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) to demonstrate English proficiency.  IELTS UF does not require international freshman applicants to submit English proficiency exam results. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required by UF Admissions.
