TOEFL The minimum acceptable TOEFL score is 550 (paper-based) 213 (computer-based), or 79 (internet-based).  IELTS The minimum IELTS score is 6.5. Submitted scores must be no more than two years old. GRE We have no set criteria for GREs of students we accept, but the successful applicant must have GRE scores consistent with University of Kentucky standards. 

PS As you write your personal statement in application to our program please tell us if you have a Bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders, speech-language pathology, etc., or if your Bachelor’s degree is in another field of study. Also be sure to write about why you are interested in the University of Kentucky program and why you think your educational background and experiences make you an excellent candidate for our master’s degree program. GPA Since our graduate program is competitive and we have a limited number of slots for admissions, students should have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0. Fee Currently our application fee includes $60 to the CSD Program and $65 to the UK Graduate School for a total of $125 which must be paid at the time you apply. RL Many graduate programs also require letters of recommendation. As part of the application you will be asked to supply contact information for the number of recommenders required by your program. Once your application has been submitted, the system will contact each person identified and their recommendations will be submitted directly to us. You can check back into your application at any time to see who has submitted a recommendation. Transcript In order to be considered for our program, you must complete your application through the University of Kentucky Graduate School @ http://www.rgs.uky.edu/gs/ You must also send an official graduate record examination score (GRE) (UK’s “Institution Code” for the GRE is 1837) and upload unofficial copies of all prior transcripts to the UK Graduate School as well.
