TOEFL TOEFL score: minimum 550 Paper Based Test, 213 Computer Based Test, 79 Internet Based Test (no component less than 15 if Internet-based). IELTS If submitting a score from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS): A minimum score of 6.2 or higher is required. GRE A Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score of 300 or better. All applicants for admission to the CM and Engineering Science Graduate Programs are required to present satisfactory scores on the aptitude portion (quantitative plus verbal sections) of the GRE before admission can be granted. 

GPA A grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.00 (A = 4.0) on all undergraduate work (or in the final 64 credit hours) and any graduate work already completed. Fee The application fee is $70. Applications are not accepted after the general deadline. RL Make sure you have current email addresses for those who will be writing you letters of recommendation, as you will be required to enter them before you submit your application. Each letter writer will receive an individual email requesting the letter of recommendation and providing instructions for uploading it. Transcript Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the initial review of your application, and you can usually download them directly from the universities you attended. If you are admitted, the Graduate School will require official transcripts if you did not submit them with your application. Official transcripts should be sent directly to Graduate Student Services, 114 West David Boyd Hall, Baton Rouge, LA 70803. If your university offers the option of emailing official transcripts, they can be sent to gradtranscripts@lsu.edu.
