PS The research statement should describe the applicant’s background, experience, and interest in graduate school and research. In addition, it should address the following topics: (1) Why the applicant wishes to pursue a degree in Personal Health Informatics versus another field, (2) the applicant’s technical experience, strengths and areas that will need improvement to work in personal health informatics, and (3) the applicant’s prior exposure to working in the domain of health and wellness and how the applicant anticipates that experience impacting the work the applicant foresees doing at Northeastern.
