TOEFL The University of Pittsburgh requires a minimum TOEFL score of 80 on the Internet test, but individual departments may set higher minimums. See table above.  IELTS The minimum required score on the IELTS is Band 6.5 and applicants must take the academic writing and reading modules. Individual departments may set higher minimums. See table above. 

PS We require applicants to answer a series of short answer questions. If you have not submitted your answers yet, then you may submit your responses online or via email at intladm@pitt.edu. Please be sure to include your full name exactly as it appears on your passport, date of birth, and student ID (if known) in your email. Answer all three questions: Describe yourself. GPA The GMAT/GRE exam is waived for currently enrolled Accounting undergraduate students at University of Pittsburgh branch campuses and the College of Business Administration (CBA) who have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 as well as a major GPA of 3.25. Fee Application fee of $50. This fee is required of applicants who are not currently enrolled at University of Pittsburgh branch campuses and the College of Business Administration (CBA). This fee is not refundable. Please make check or money order payable to the University of Pittsburgh. (Do not send cash). RL Two letters of recommendation from persons who have known the applicant in academic or professional capacities (at least one from a faculty member is preferred). Applicants can enter the name and email address of their chosen recommenders in the online application. The recommenders will then receive an automatic email from the online application system, notifying them to complete the letter of recommendation. Transcript An unofficial copy can be uploaded into the Educational Information section of the online application. The unofficial copy will suffice for the application review process. Once an applicant is admitted to the MAcc program, an official copy of the transcript will be requested.
