If you apply for admission to graduate study in English at Purdue, bear in mind that we pay particular attention to your statement of purpose. It should tell us something about your intellectual history and development. Which books and courses have been important to you, and why? Why are you hoping to pursue graduate study? Why at Purdue? If you are applying to the doctoral program, in what area(s) do you plan to specialize? What research topics interest you especially? GPA Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average: 3.0 or equivalent required. Fee The Graduate School application fee is $60 (U.S. dollars) for domestic applicants and $75 (U.S. dollars) for international applicants. Transcript While the Graduate School will accept unofficial transcripts as part of the application process, please be aware that official transcripts will be required if you are admitted to our graduate program. Thus, we highly recommend that you submit official transcripts with your original application materials if at all possible. We also appreciate having official transcripts submitted with your other application materials insofar as this gives us definitive information on your coursework and any earned or in-process degrees.
