《泰晤士报和星期日泰晤士报优秀大学指南》的英国大学学科排名由《泰晤士报》（The Times）自1992起发布，是英国最权威影响力最大的排名之一，对学生择校有重要的参考意义。

《泰晤士报》是英国媒体中最早发布英国大学学科排名的单位，1992年，《泰晤士报》首先公布了英国第一份大学指南——《优秀大学指南》（Good Universities Guide）。自2014版起，《泰晤士报》（The Times）和《星期日泰晤士报》（The Sunday Times）共同发布英国大学排名。

“Times专业排名”将所有学科分为62类，以学生满意度(调查)、科研实力(参考RAE科研评估)、专业录取条件(本科)以及就业率四项指标为参考基础，分别计分，算出总分获得排名。
